HEALTH
Discrimination has been widely shown to have significant, harmful effects on health and wellbeing. It also impacts the perpetrator. They are left knowingly or unknowingly with shame and regret. EVERYONE LOSES.
WIDESPREAD
Discrimination is wide and varied, and includes harassment and slurs. A Harvard study exposes that nearly 60% of LGBTQ people and almost all Black Americans, for example, report personally experiencing slurs about who they are or who they love. The impact of that hurt spreads to families, spouses and friends.
GENETICS

MENTAL HEALTH
